Why we play this game…

The law enforcement and fire and rescue personnel that play this annual game have a great time with it and we know the fans do, too. However, we never lose sight of why we play this game. We play to raise money and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy. We play for people like Aidan Galleo.
Aidan Galleo is a 6-year-old boy with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy. He was diagnosed when he was three. His mother, Melanie, is grateful for the MDA, which helped her, her son and their family during the last three years.
“The MDA was one of the first to call to offer their support and help us through our grief. They cover the costs for his visits to the MDA Clinic, where he sees a neurologist and has access to physical therapists and others involved with managing a patient with this disease,” Melanie explain. “Since we are in the beginning phases with this disease, we hope that any funds the MDA receives will help speed a cure so Aidan can be spared what now is certainly in his future.”
We hope you come to the game and have a great time. Please remember Aidan and others like him who are struggling with this terrible disease and help us help them.
See you at the game!
